Power Wagon Ram Laramie Ram expanding the hard-core off-road lineup, adding comfort and convenience features, such as leather seats, premium audio, dual-zone A / C and wood grain dash and door panels. Power Wagon package also includes floor mounted, manual transfer case shifter. Outside, the exterior features bold fender flares body color, chrome mirrors, bumpers and grille, and unique badging. The addition of Laramie Power Wagon models provide off-road quarterback tuxedo and build on the success and heritage of the Power Wagon nameplate.
Ram Power Wagon is based on the 2500 Ram Heavy Duty Crew Cab 4 × 4. Power Wagon 14.5-inch ground clearance, compared with 12 inches at the 2500 Ram Heavy Duty. 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 features 383 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 400 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. V-8 HEMI has been modified for use in the Ram Power Wagon in order to enhance off-road maneuverability and finesse. When driving in a four-wheel drive "low", softens throttle response and increase the idle speed by 100 rpm (650-750 rpm) - providing added control on the way up and down off-road obstacles at slow speeds.
U.S. manufacturers began Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for 2012 ST Ram Power Wagon $ 42,620 and $ 51,995 for 2012 Power Wagon Ram Laramie (including $ 995 destination charge). The 2012 Ram Power Wagon SLT starts at $ 46,560. Laramie and ST models on sale in December 2011.
