Available in 2-wheel and four-wheel drive versions, depending on the engine, the Citroen C4 Aircross will be launched in the first half of 2012. With the latest generation of four-wheel drive transmission system, Citroen C4 Aircross offers excellent grip in all conditions. This technology allows the car can be driven permanently in four-wheel drive mode, while the optimal torque distribution between front and rear wheels.
Using a single control is positioned behind the gear lever, the driver can manually select one of three modes of transmission to meet their needs and desires: 2WD for optimal fuel consumption, 4WD, which automatically distributes torque between the front and rear axles, or lock mode, which increases the torque transmitted to the rear wheels for better grip in severe conditions.
Citroen C4 Aircross meet the brand's commitment to environmental protection with the HDi 110 engine, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, makes this model is one of the front runner in its segment in terms of CO2 emissions. And HDi 110 engines will be available with 2WD and 4WD, so that everyone can choose the version that best suits their lifestyle.
Right from the launch, Citroen C4 Aircross also will benefit from the performance HDi 150 engine (also available with 2WD and 4WD with a 6-speed manual gearbox) and 115 bhp 1.6i petrol engine (available in 2WD version with 5-speed manual gearbox).
